Tata Pad emits some sounds to alert the user to particular events/situations during its use.

Here is the list of sounds.

Activating Tata Pad

This sound is emitted when the Tata Pad detects the presence of a conductive body (i.e.: the child), passing from "standby" to "active" state.

N.B: If you remove the baby from the Tata Pad, it does not switch off immediately; this means that if your child sits down shortly after you will not hear this sound again as the Tata Pad will still remain active for about 3 minutes.

Searching for a smartphone to connect to

When the Tata Pad recognises the presence of a conductive body (i.e. the child) it "activates" and searches for a smartphone to connect to (or other compatible Bluetooth device).

This is also the sound with which the Tata Pad reminds you to turn on bluetooth or make sure you have your smartphone with you before you go on a trip.

In such cases it will emit the following sound.

N.B: the duration of this sound will depend on the connection time with the smartphone or other compatible bluetooth device

Connection to your smartphone

When the Tata Pad switches successfully from "searching for a smartphone to connect to" status to "connection" status you will hear this sound.

No connection to your smartphone

If the Tata Pad fails to connect with your smartphone while it is searching, you will hear this sound.

Tata Pad shutdown

After a period in which the Tata Pad has failed to connect to the smartphone you will hear this sound.

The Tata Pad will also emit this same sound to indicate that it is switching off after it has no longer detected the presence of the child for 3 minutes.
