We have chosen to link the functioning of the Tata Pad to smartphones because this has allowed us to create very advanced features that significantly increase the safety of children in cars.

In a study by noheatstroke.org, there have been many cases in which children died after being intentionally left in a car in the sun while the parent ran errands. In these cases, a simple sound alarm directed at the parent would not be enough because it would be knowingly ignored.

Thanks to the smartphone app, we can generate automatic calls and/or send text messages via our virtual switchboard, alerting emergency contacts.
